Women Empowerment Program

No one can deny the importance of education. We regard education prerequisite for women development. We seek women active participation into mainstream of development. It is only possible at that time when they are equipped with latest knowledge, information, research and education.

RWWO has been managing 50 home schools for poor girl children of rural areas supported by Global Fund for Women (GFW). Education for all, is our belief. Through this line of action, even aged women are being enrolled besides girl students to obtain education and get themselves aligned with educated members of society through Adult Functional Literacy schools which are supported by Catholic Relief Services (CRS).

The distinguished feature of home schools is shown from the fact that home schools enroll those students who did not attend the schools before. The services of these schools are largely available to the people irrespective of religion, caste or race. 5 out of 50 schools are providing education specially to ethnic minorities, sweepers, cobblers etc. It is worthwhile to mention that these students were victimized of social, cultural ad religious discriminations, consequently they left the schools in the past.

However we are on the way of development and have launched many program to empower the women of our working radius by awaring them about "Women Rights".

As a conclusion we say that we have devoted our souls for empowerment of deprived women in our society suffering from Lethal customs e.g. Karo Kari (Honor killing), domestic violence and civil law against Women Rights, so all of our endeavors are to achieve the aims for the same. Thus we say "When Women stop, the World Stops!".
