Rural Woman Welfare
Organization (RWWO) is basically an NGO of Rural Women, by the
women and for the women. It has been working for the uplift
of the rural women at the grassroots level in district Sanghar,
province of Sindh, Pakistan, for few years prior to its registration
on April 20, 1992.
Having grown from
a CBO to a well established NGO during the past couple of years,
RWWO is now working for the Development of Rural Community with
the support of its esteemed donors and the courage of its hard
working workers. Core focus of its work have been Community
Building and Development. Although a difficult task, RWWO has
been at the fore front for working with the community in the
villages around Sanghar town . It now has more than 650 regular
members, 2500 associate members, 120 group leaders/ activists.
RWWO has established 35 CBOs and VOs. It has arranged 62 training
in various fields for its workers. RWWO has carried out 14 projects
still now, and has 20,000 direct beneficiaries and 1,50,000
indirect beneficiaries.
